My sister and I both grind our teeth! I used to kick her out of my bed when we were kids because I couldn't sleep with her loud grinding. When Dh and I started dating he told me I grind my teeth also.
Night guard. I am not even sure if they do that for kids that young.
UGH!!! S does this (H sometimes does, too). Drives me fucking crazy. I found the more I tell him to stop the more amused he gets. I still haven't found a solution.

Ugh. My younger son did that for a while and every time I would yell something along the lines of, "Eeeeee! Stop stop stop!" And he'd look at me and do it more. Ugh, it was awful. But he did stop eventually and google assured me that it's common and won't ruin their teeth forever.

She's about to turn four. If I don't sell her to the circus first. Confession: she also sometimes still uses a paci. She keeps finding them, god damnit. She grinds when she's awake.

I clench my jaw in my sleep. I used to have a mouthguard for it but haven't used it in a long time. But this is while she is watching tv or occupied. I mean, she doesn't watch tv. We don't own a tv. Nope. Not at all.
If she's only four, I wouldn't be concerned about the grinding at this point. Hopefully she will be one of the many who grow out of it. There really isn't anything that can be done at her age. Are you worried about her teeth, or is the noise just really irritating?

I usually grind now while I am in that asleep/not quite asleep mode and DH shakes me with his legs and says "babe, you are grinding."
Me: I dont'care, stop talking to me so I can sleep!
I would be more concerned about the paci affecting her teeth at this point than the grinding. You've probably got a couple of years before she starts losing baby teeth, but you should definitely make sure that paci is gone before the permanent teeth start coming in.
Hahaha. Just be sure that once you get the last one out she doesn't replace the paci with her fingers or thumb. From what I hear that is a terribly difficult habit to break.

Oh she does suck her thumb when no paci is around. She sees two dentists, the one she saw the visit before last didn't care because at least it was only a paci, not a part permanent of her body
