weird formatting when doing a Copy and Paste

When I have a long post, sometimes I will compose it in Outlook or Word, and then copy and paste into GBCN (especially if I am at work ).  When I do this, I get this really weird long formatting when it posts (looks like a bunch of HTML code).  Is there any way to fix this, other than always composing on the website?
