DH is building a box in the backyard for our garden. He's got the box made and in the ground. We're going to start the seedlings inside this week. Hooray!!

I have been wondering whether I can even deal with a garden this year. I know Baby Fuss loves his grape tomatoes, but I'm the one who has to do most of the work!

I imagine that would be exhausting for you! I am just SO excited that we have our own place where we can finally make a garden. No more neighbor downstairs complaining because we're watering our veggies.

Why would someone complain because you are watering your garden?

If I have a balcony in my future apartment, I plan on doing a few simple herbs and a tomato plant.

We lived on the second floor partiallysunny, so every time we watered the plants, water dripped down on the other person's outdoor space. We had tarps down and everything and it was only a dribble. They had NO furniture down there, but complained about us constantly to the apartment office.
