Ours was busy. DD had a birthday party to go to on Saturday and then her birthday party was on Sunday. In between them she came down with a really bad cold...she hardly ever gets sick so I feel bad for her. FIL came up from CT for the party yesterday though, and it was nice to see him, and DD enjoyed her party in spite of being sick.
DD and I are home today because she's still sick (she has NO voice which is both cute and pitiful). We're currently watching the same episode of the Backyardigans for the fifth time.
Hi. Ours was pretty fun. Friday we went to Posto for pizza and drinks. Saturday I took the girl that I mentor out to lunch and to see Beauty and the Beast at the Opera House. Saturday night was extremely relaxing. I laid on the couch and watched a movie while my husband went out. Yesterday I slept in and we picked up the Japanese girls and took them to Costco (their idea) and then brought them to our house for a dinner. They loved Costco (they took photos of everything) and they wanted to play Uno at our house.
Next weekend is another weekend of teenage events. We have THREE 8th grade graduation ceremonies and 2 parties next weekend. Can't wait til the following weekend.

I hope your daughter feels better soon, sunshine!
We had a good weekend. Saturday, we went to Kendall to see Moonrise Kingdom, the new Wes Anderson movie. It was awesome. We tried to go to the 3:30 show, but it was sold out by 3 o'clock. So we got tickets for the 4:30 show, and there were only a handful of seats left. After the movie, we got dinner at the Blue Room, which was delicious.
Yesterday, we ran a few errands, grabbed lunch at Cabots, and then lazed around. It was so nice.
Hope everyone is staying dry today! It's seriously disgusting out there.

Our weekend was too short!
Saturday we ran errands then had a few friends over for a game night. Sunday we had two graduation parties to go to. One was for the son of friends of my parents, the other was for the little girl I babysat for when I was in high school. I don't know how she got so old!
Now DS is sick and crabby but he just went down for a nap so I'm watching Downton Abby.
Ours was tiring but fun. Drove down to Scranton on Friday night, and watched DH fight all day while DD made friends with a couple of girls who thought she was the bomb. Drove to Philly Sat night, and spent Sunday afternoon at our adoption agency's picnic. It was DD's birthmom's birthday, so we got cake and just hung out for a few hours. Took the LONG drive home and collapsed into bed.
Ours was busy, but good! My sister and family came to visit, so we took the kids to the Discovery Museums in Acton on Sunday. They were great! The science museum is awesome! H and I had a great time playing with the interactive exhibits and it wasn't super busy. If you are looking for a good way to entertain kids on a rainy day, I highly recommend it. And we got library passes for half price admission. Kids are 4 and 6.
Their visit tired us out, so we watched a movie from the library sunday night. Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol. It was actually really good! All in all a nice weekend despite the crappy weather.
