Welp, now I'm scared of hot air balloons too.

Going on a hot air balloon ride is on my bucket list. I figure the mathaematical oddds of something like that are low (hey math people- if I am wrong here STFU and let me believe what I want). I also envision me being curled into a ball on the bottom of the basket during the entire trip.

Me too, on all counts! I really, really love the idea of a hot air balloon ride but think I'll totally freak out once I'm in the air.

How awful.

I find it a little.....crappy?...that the pilot leaped out right away, which caused the situation to worsen and threw off the balance of the balloon so it shot up in the air quickly. I don't know, I mean in that situation, I'm sure we'd all be out for self-preservation, but I kind of feel like that's equivalent to a captain going down with his ship. Maybe not, but he did survive and so many passengers were killed.....it just left a funny taste in my mouth. Not saying he deserved to die, but...I don't know. I'm not articulating well.
