I just scheduled my follow up

I had my blood work and HSG done at the end of last year. H had his SA at the same time. All the testing wrapped up around the holidays.

After both rounds of blood work the doctor called to say things looked good. She called to say H's results were great. The radiologist said my HSG looked good, though she did ask if I have ever been told I have a "tilted uterus" because she had a hard time getting the cath in.

Anyways, after all that it was the holidays and I guess I was feeling a little like if everything had looked good maybe I was just blowing things out of proportion. I decided to give it three cycles and see if anything good happened. Also, I figured that gave me three cycles to chart, which my doctor said would be helpful. I'm on CD8 of the third cycle and not feeling optimistic (though, for no particular reason other than the past 100 cycles haven't been successful, so....lol).

Anyways, today a girlfriend of mine that got married in November called to tell me she got pregnant on her honeymoon so I was inspired to schedule my follow up.

It's for the 18th of March. I'll be having my period then, but surely that doesn't matter right?

I'm feeling kind of sad, but also relieved that we're at least going to be making some progress.

Sometimes just making an appt to move forward in some way eases my mind....even if its temporary. Good luck!

I'm this way, too. Going to appointments makes me feel like I'm doing something.

Do you know what they're planning on the follow-up? Is it just to discuss the next steps? If so, then it wouldn't matter if you're on your period. Which is sounds like it would be for you.

Good luck though. I agree with the other posters, sometimes just making the appointment makes everything a little easier!

I'm guessing we just discuss next steps? I really have no idea what to expect. But, like you all, I do feel some relief just knowing I'm moving forward.

Though, I really did think it would happen in these last three cycles. REALLY. I'm so ridiculous!

My grandma has a tilted uterus and told me that she had to put a pillow under her butt during sex, and it worked because she had 7 kids!  Yes, my Grandma told me this

lol linz. We have tried the pillow under hips after sex. It hasnt done us any good, obviously.

It cant hurt to try it! I have a friend who swears she got pregnant by doing that. My H is funny, because if he knows it my "fertile time" he insists I put a pillow under my hips. We have an old pillow dubbed "the sex pillow" just for this. Haha

Just do it! It might work Its something easy to try.
