Are women leaving their breasts at home?? How does BF tie the woman to the home? I don't know if I like either argument because honestly it goes on the assumption that BF is easy peasy when in fact it is not and there are many factors that might make it an impossibility.
I don't know, I don't need men all up in my vagina telling me what I should do regarding pregnancy and birth control and I also don't need other women all up in my breasts telling me how I should feed my child, where I should feed them and how this will impact the entire feminist movement.

the point of the book is how breastfeeding impacts the feminist movement in america and vice versa, soooo yeeeahhh. i don't suggest you read the book if you don't want to hear about how breastfeeding relates to feminism. lol.
lol Noted and since those days are behind me and frankly, it seems to be something my breasts are just not up for doing, it's not needed anyway. but come on, do we really need that pressure on top of everything else!?
There's an interesting article about this, but I'm on my phone and can't link it. It's called The case against breast feeding and it was published by The Atlantic.
Honestly, I can see both sides and am conflicted over the push to bf.

this is how i feel about my cervix. nope, just not gonna happen.
For me personally, I have found BF'ing empowering. It feels amazing to be able to provide so much to my child, especially when she was little and I kept her alive. WITH MY BOOBS! That's so fucking cool. Like, look- these things aren't just for show anymore, ok?
