I posted the other day about my DD having some trouble breathing and some terrible coughing fits. We went to the ER on Monday night where she was given prednisone, as well as a five day prescription for it that we give her twice a day plus nebulizer every four hours. She is marginally better, but HOLY MOTHER OF GOD does she have a case of 'roid rage. I have never, ever seen my sweet girl so angry, combative, defiant, and crabby. Everything you say to her is answered by a shrill scream of NO WAY! followed by screaming, stomping, door slamming, etc. She's 2. I cannot wait for the steroid doses to be done. I am still miserably sick and my patience is thin. The plague that's come over our house can go away annnnnnny time now.

I was on it last spring for eight weeks. I never got the irritability, but damn if every single room in my house wasn't cleaned, gym joined, garage organized...you get the picture. I got the massive burst of energy. I'd rather she got that than the irritability. She's been just awful.
