Okay so I like to enter contests online (I know I'm lame). 
I just got a knock on the door and it was fed-ex with a package that needed to be signed for.  The prize?  This dvd.

Last fall I won a different dvd that needed to be signed for (retails around the same price), and of course I wasn't home so I had to go a fed-ex location to pick it up.
I've had prizes worth more than that, hanging out on my porch all day, no signature needed.

I think you've talked about this before. Where do you find the contests to enter?

I first found some through www.online-sweepstakes.com, and from those blogs usually found links to others. I follow them then through gfc or email and see when they have giveaways.

Sometimes there will be blog hop's, where each blog links to a bunch of other's and it makes it easy to find giveaways that way.

This is an example of a blog hop.  Fall in love with fluff.
It can take time, but I only work part time and so rather than want to go out and go shopping or spend money this is what I do.  Or I do it while we are watching tv at night.
I've managed to us save money (because I try to win things I know I can give as gifts, or things that we can use when we have a baby).

That's really cool. I use to win stuff all the time. I have not won anything in a long time.
