If their format was legible, load times were faster, and everyone else went back I would grudgingly consider it. This is only because I can't see siggys or do emoticons/change text from the app. The only way I would willingly go back is above listed and an app.

I will go wherever everyone goes, 'cause I am a sheep like that. BUT I would want the boards to load fast, for my posts to not disappear randomly, and I would like to be able to curse because I am a fucking adult. An app would be an awesome bonus, because I super puffy heart the proboards app.

Honestly, I'll follow the crowd to wherever the discussion is - but I don't feel any real desire to go back to the Nest, no matter what they change. The problem is, they'll always be making another round of stupid, needless changes that don't even work and only slow down the board. They'll always be trying to find another way to bombard you with advertising and steal your information....so why bother?

If someone really cares to take score, I just noticed something else they changed. There used to be a shortcut on the left side of the page to "my posts". It's gone now. I never thought it worked all that great anyway; optimally, you should re-enter each thread at the point you posted. Instead, if you posted on page 6 of a 12 page tbread, you had to scroll through the pages to get to the point you left the thread and see if anyone replied to you.

Or maybe it would be better if each reply showed up as a separate subject line/ link to be opened. When we get really long threads, I really wish that message board was in that style!

I was just wondering though.....can anyone find this board? In other words, while at the Nest there was always potential for new posters from lurkers, etc (which admittedly is sometimes a good thing, sometimes not). Will we be able to bring on new posters here or is this private?

No. I only knew where it was bc I opened the link days ago. Now those links are gone.

This board is not private. Other Established ProBoards are googleable, so presumably this one will be too eventually. TN has their "content" to bring people in, but that's the only difference.

I'm thinking maybe a well trafficked advice board or something here would be a good way to bring in new blood.

it is not private, but it doesn't show up in a google search either. I think we just need to randomly post the link on the nest board occasionally.

I'm still bitter that I accrued all these "points" and Nesticles, and they are absolutely POINTLESS. Literally. WhoTF creates a feature that means absolutely nothing and has no use?

I prefer proboards, although if the crowd went back I'd follow. Unless they don't fix the fact that every time I go on the new boards firefox freezes so badly I have to restart my entire computer. Right now I *can't* use their boards. In the meantime, I really prefer proboards. Easier to read, easier to use and none of the annoying ads.
