NCR -- All The Intros...

Make this site look really unorganized and it's kind of starting to get annoying. I mean, it wouldn't bug me so much if there weren't so many of them, but there seem to be about 5 different Intro. threads, not counting individual introduction threads. I'm kinda hoping the staff creates a Welcome Forum/Board to place all the introduction threads and rules and stuff because a lot of the forums are also kind of unorganized.
Aside from that, I love this site. It seems about ten times more welcoming than The Nest and about a million times more active.
This been bugging anyone else?

I have only been lurking until tonight, but I agree... the over abundance of intro threads everywhere definitely pushes my buttons

You must be thinking of a different board. As far as I can tell, there isn't even one intro thread on the craft board--the only thing close is the "come play," but that is more of a roll call or check in.

The intro threads don't bug me that much, but I'm not trying to keep up on the super busy boards. I figure that most of the lurkers will fade away again, but if they don't I'll be able to look back and read their intro.

I *think* the only real rule here on the craft board is that AW posts need PIPs & that is way easier on this new board.

I don't think we have high enough turnover to need a permanent intro thread... but I would love the FAQ to be c&p into a sticky. (nudge nudge wink wink JIL)

No, not this board. That's one of the things I instantly liked about this board. On some of them, however, every third post is an intro!
