We are replacing all the doors in our new house. There was a period of about 4-6 hours where both bathrooms had no doors. I went pee upstairs while the men were working downstairs, but I didnt know what I was going to do about pooping when it came. First, the sounds, then the smells.....eek. Luckily we went out to buy paint, so I used the public closed door washroom.
Although when I was first diagnosed and couldnt control my urgency, I didnt care at all about my toilet full of crap when I broke the toilet bowl and the landlord came to fix it. (The toilet tank cracked - unrelated to IBD- I was super sick and fell into it)
My bowel moment of the week: I'm in a triathlon training club. We were at dinner and were discussing options for attire - a two piece tri suit v. a one piece tri suit. I said I like the fit of the one pieces better but was worried about using the bathroom. Someone who's done a couple races said, oh there's no time to use the bathroom, we're just doing a sprint.
I told her THERE'S ALWAYS TIME FOR THE BATHROOM!!!
I go running in the park in the morning and always take change with me for the park's bathrooms. I don't run for very long at all, but don't want to be unable to use the park restrooms if I need to!

The park charges money to use the bathroom? I've never heard of that!
