My new bedding is scheduled to arrive today . I am totally stalking the UPS man LOL! Trouble is, we have at least two trucks a day circle the cul-de-sac a day. Of course mine will be on the second truck and won't arrive until LA and I are at her therapy appointment.
It is raining.
And we don't have a covered porch.
UPDATE: It arrived on the first truck I need to get my tail in gear and buy a duvet now, but the cover is gor-ge-ous!!!
Oh, our Fedex and UPS guys have been delivering to us so long (and so frequently- Amazon Prime rocks that we're totally on a first name basis. They know not to ring (the dogs go nuts), they know the kids, it's hilarious. Our mailman and Lasership are working their way there, too.
We're expecting stuff every single day this week- and even though I'm getting some craft stuff, I'm most excited about our new BOUNCE HOUSE! Oh, we (ME!!!) need it- these kids have some energy to wear off!
Congrats on the new bedding- at least it's not the worst thing to get wet, if you have to have a package get wet. Do you have a covered back porch? In other homes, I've had them put them back there in inclement weather, if they can get to them without breaking and entering too badly.
We don't always have the same delivery guys. I cannot figure out how their routes work around here. We used to know the FedEx guy--that is who delivered LA's food and supplies, but now they have a local company doing it and the delivery person is different every time (and none are thrilled when they have to haul her food hehehe---it is heavy!).
So...tell me about this bouncy house. I was looking at some. What did you get?

I totally get the stalking the UPS guy thing. I did it recently myself because I ordered a hair fascinator for my wedding that I LOVED so as soon as I knew it should be in I was THERE lol I live in the country, but on one of the more 'major' roads out there so I learned that day that at 5 different points a truck passes our house.... how frustrating is that? lol
Here is a stock photo. It is RH Italian Medallion in Pacific. WAY more than I intended to spend, but considering I had my last bedding for 15 years, I think I'll get my money's worth LOL! I had been looking forever and couldn't find bedding that both DH and I liked. Not that he needed to love it, but I prefer not to get an "eh, it's ok" response. He actually likes this one so it is worth it!!
(we didn't get the solid pieces)
So now, I just need to decide on paint color, drapes and accessory pillows. Our bed is a dark tobacco color and I think for the walls, I am going to go with the blue/gray color. I have a swatch of fabric I am considering for the drapes, but now that I have the bedding, I think I will go back out and look more specifically. Taupe is high on the consideration list for accent pillows.
