I'm working my way slowwwwwly through A Feast for Crows (Game of Thrones #4).
I'm listening to Sea Swept by Nora Roberts.
Tomorrow we are going car shopping. My husband totaled his car on the way to work on Monday (he skidded on ash on a crazy mountain road, hit a tree, and then the rotted-out tree FELL ON THE CAR WHILE HE WAS STILL IN IT). He's fine, but the car is no more and we are unexpectedly in the market for new wheels.

I'm glad your husband is OK! That must have been scary.
I'm reading Tomatoland: How Modern Industrial Agriculture Destroyed Our Most Alluring Fruit by Barry Estabrook which has been really good so far. Also - Blood, Bones and Butter by Gabrielle Hamilton - awesome. Although she's a bit damaged and it comes out in her writing.
Botany of Desire by Michael Pollan which is sort of boring me to tears. I think he needed an editor.
Starting Sweet Life in Paris by David Lebovitz for my bookclub. I've read it before - and its good - but thought I needed a refresher.

Call It Sleep by Henry Roth. It is the story of a young Jewish boy in NYC around 1911. It is very interesting and one of the best books I've read so far this year.

I'm about to finish The Wonder Years by The American Academy of Pediatrics. I wish I would have read it when my kids were babies as it has some great activity suggestions. I guess it'll be helpful though with our next child. Overall, I think it would be a great read for first time parents.
I'm trying to decide what to read next. Looking at my TBR list feels overwhelming.
Nothing yet today, but I just finished The Secret Keeper by Kate Morton last night. It took a little while for me to get into but I really loved the ending.

I'm having a chick-lit interlude and reading Calm, Cool, and Adjusted by Kristin Billerbeck. I've got about 6 chapters left, and then I think I may have a few light mysteries, but I'm not sure yet.
I finished Never Let Me Go a few days ago. At first I was into the book because there was a lot of mystery to what was going on. But overall I found the book to be boring.
I'm not sure what to read next.
I really like that book I thought the beginning was hard to get into but once I learned what was going on, I thought the book was so sad.

I love that whole series.
I am almost finished with The Villa by Nora Roberts and then will be starting A Shot of Sultry by Macy Beckett.
This weekend is mainly car shopping and a birthday party, then studying for midterms next week.
Wolf Hall by Hilary Mantel. I'm halfway through and still having trouble adjusting to the POV. It's first person, but told in third person voice. Does that even make sense?
I just joined a book club and the first book is Alas, Babylon by Pat Frank. It's not available on kindle or nook, and I'm so irritated about it that I'm thinking of bailing already. Sorta.

Everyone seems to really like Wolf Hall but I couldn't finish it. I hated the POV.

Have you read her Ashley Stockingdale books? Calm, Cool, and Adjusted is the only Spa Girls book I've read, but I love the Ashley books. I also read The Trophy Wives Club, and it was cute, but I didn't like it quite as much as the others.

I've read the Spa Girls series, and I started What A Girl Wants, but I accidentally forgot it in a restaurant in Adelaide the night DH proposed. I downloaded it for my Kindle and want to get back to it. I'm also looking forward to reading The Scent of Rain.

Yeah, it took some getting used to. Plus, everyone is Thomas. I liked it, but I thought the second one was much better.
I finished up The Casual Vacancy over the weekend, and I liked it a lot. I also just finished up When It Happens to You by Molly Ringwald. It's a novel in short stories, so I kept drifting away to read other things and coming back to it. It was good, though. Better than I expected., and a lot better than some of the other Kindle deals I've gotten, heh.
