My iPhone 3 hasn't been charging properly lately. And taking forever to load fb app. I realized how pathetic it is that I feel like people look at my 3 as if it were a Motorola Razr, or some shit.

Before I finished reading this post I was going to say "you having an iPhone 3 is 1st world problems" haha

J is constantly bugging me to use my upgrade to a 4 so that I don't have to flip my phone back and forth while we skype on the phones. Lol. I used this maneuver while he was on Guam. He's had a 4 forever and can't fathom why I keep reviving this 3.

Well you may as well just wait until the fall for the 5
Apparently my 1st world problem is I have an iPhone 3. I've updated it so it does the tricks that an iPhone 4 does. DH has a 4G phone and my internet works in a lot more places than his does. I'm proud of my 3!
The window motor on our SUV is broken, so it's currently parked in our one-car garage, leaving my (nicer) car in the driveway to collect sap and bird dung.
The window motors on DH's car are a constant issue. Thank you Jeep for continually replacing faulty parts with faulty parts. I guess my other first world problem is the day before we were going out of town this weekend, my car wouldn't start. It ended up just being the battery but H's car was leaking coolant as well. I drove my car on 0% battery (thank goodness my alternator works...) with H following me in his car that overheats quickly to go buy the parts we needed. F'ing cars...

I have to fly to Cali to care for my dad. He only has dial-up in his office so I'm limited in what and when I can access on the internet. Phone browsing here I come. And my poor brand new tablet (finally got my Transformer - yay!) and probably my laptop (bigger screen) will have to have tons of books and movies uploaded to keep me entertained. (He is bedridden with Alzheimer's, non-cognizant for the most part and will be asleep most of the time in a teeny tiny town with one small grocery store and a couple of bars.)
There is a nasty cat smell in my house... it's just enough for me to notice, and it is making me crazy. H doesn't smell anything and thinks I am insane, but I know what I smell. I am about to steam clean with Natures Miracle and/or fumigate this bitch. I don't care if the chemicals burn skin, I want the smell gone.
I am never letting my H clean the letterbox again. I should not be smelling nasty cat when his box is in the basement, and there are decent ways of getting rid of the soiled litter without making everyone suffer.
This issue is actually that the phone burns up/ruins chargers. We've bought 3 new chargers in the last 6 months. They just stop charging it after about 5-10 minutes. And leave literal scorch marks on the charger. It's so strange. I haven't bothered to go into AT&T, though. I can make phone calls, browse and text. Even if it is hooked up to the charger most of the day, having to be disconnected and re-connected because it will just stop charging off and on.

We ordered an iPad that was supposedly on back order and since we are PCSing, had it shipped to my parents. The "back order" was a lie and my Dad said it came a few days after we ordered it. I want my iPad!!!

My coworkers and I got pizza delivered today since none of us would have time to take a real lunch break. The pizza was so hot I burned my mouth on the first bite, but I was so hungry I kept eating it

I may be strange, but I look forward to a burned mouth from pizza. I literally get ancey when cutting pizza because I *love* eating it super hot.
My Kuerig is downstairs, when I need to get ready upstairs. *shudder*
Our master bedroom is on the third floor. I briefly considered putting one (of our three) Keurigs upstairs in our bedroom. But, then I realized that I would have to buy another transformer to be able to run it (it is 110 volts and our outlets are 220) and I would need to buy a tiny refrigerator in which to keep my liquid CoffeeMate (nondairy creamer). Too much money and effort. I hear ya', Hilly.
My first world problem? We have no closets. None. Housing is supposed to provide them, but the wait list is reportedly running at least a year. At this rate, with our luck, we'll get our effing wardrobes a month or two before we move. (Not that we know if, where or when we'd be moving. . . ). Most of my clothes are laying in a heap in front of my new dresser.
Oh, another one! I love my new vacuum cleaner. It is fabulous. But I can't bring it home with me because it runs on 220 volts, not 110.

For what it's worth, the last time that I had that problem is was because one of my cats had taken to pissing in the drain of the bathroom tub. Anxietycat ftw. I've heard that it can also happen if a cat is too lazy to go to the part of the house where the litter box is located.
My first world problem is that places like Amazon and Wag.com keep splitting my orders into multiple shipments and then I end up having to wait around for several days looking out for multiple different packages to arrive.

NomadicMama, do the hardware or dept stores there have pop-up closets? We got a couple in Korea, and they were fairly inexpensive. They were basically pvc pipes with curtains, but they worked really well. If it's normal for homes not to have closets, then there has to be some sort of local solution to the problem.

I am gathering my options. I am weighing the cost against the esthetics. I'm tiring of the temporary feeling that comes with inexpensive (cheap) furniture but I can't justify spending too much. It sucks (FWP suck). We could be here for three years, or we could be moving in 12 months.
Wow, as I was typing this, I recieved a phone call--our wardrobes are being delivered on Tuesday!!!! Yeah!!! Granted, they will likely be ugly, but they are at no cost to us. Yeah! This is a welcome surprise!
