When Phil looked into the camera and said that, I laughed quite a bit. I'm glad that team was eliminated...they were annoying. So glad the father/son team are doing so well still!

I felt so bad for the girl, but she should have put up more of a fight against her partner. He acted like her suggestions were the most ridiculous thing he'd ever heard, and she just kind of shrugged her shoulders like "oh well, guess I don't know what I'm talking about." What was their relationship? Were they just dating? I did laugh at his whole little speech at the end. "I don't need a million dollars." What a douche.
Mr. Mullet also had me laughing. The shot of him diving under rocks and running along the beach in his hiking boots, curly locks bouncing in the breeze was all just too much. I rolled my eyes when the blondes broke out in song.
I like Conner and his dad, the hockey brothers, and Pam and Winnie. I don't mind the YouTube stars or the derby moms, but I'm meh on the rest.

Agreed - the girl should have been more vocal. I believe they are a dating couple. His logic during switching tasks was also very dumb - "if we get to the sand task and no one is there, then that is a good thing and we don't use the Express Pass". What??? That would make me use the Express Pass more! You already know there are a handful of teams at the other task your moron.
Not using the Express Pass is just as dumb as not playing a Hidden Immunity Idol in Survivor when you think you have to.
I agree, that guy was a douche. He knows damn well he's pissed at himself for not using the pass and holding on to it, he's just trying to play it off. Oh well, having them leave is no loss, I didn't even know they were part of the race until this episode.
I agree with pumpkin's opinion of Mr. Mullet running around and the blondes breaking out into song. Puke.
They were going along with it because they didn't know what we were doing and we thought it was right because they were going along with it. [Laughs] And then they didn't give us a clue and we did run out with their sarongs. The funny part is we got to the actual challenge and people were looking at us like, "Whoa! Did you bring your own sarongs?"

The fact that John (?) couldn't admit that he'd made a mistake not playing the express pass, even after being eliminated, was ridiculous. When he was saying that he didn't really need a million dollars or something, I was shaking my head. My favorite part was when he tried to look at the other surfboards, and Phil told him that he couldn't, even though the other teams had all checked in. Probably gave John hope that it was a non-elimination leg. Usually, by this time, I have a favorite team, but I don't have one this time around. I strongly dislike the newlyweds and am annoyed by the YouTubers and Southerners, but don't really like anyone in particular. I do like the father/son, but I'm pretty sure they're not long for the race. Pam and Winnie and the hockey players seem OK, I guess.
