J's friend, actually. His friend, C, was married to this woman I met once, and I thought she was completely trashy and a terrible mother to her 11 year old son (not C's son). J has never liked her. C has a little girl with an ex-gf. His wife has never been able to stand that C and his dd's mother get along relatively well. C would have to use speaker phone anytime he talked to his ex-gf, and when he'd get off the phone, his wife would get pissed at him for being nice to her.
Finally, two weeks ago, C decides he's had enough and moves in with a friend. He and his wife had not completely decided they were divorcing, just that they at least needed a break from each other.
J was on fb last night and saw a post from C- saying, ON FB, that his wife had cheated on him, it was over between them, and anyone that was mad at him for posting that could just go ahead and delete him as a friend. Followed up by MULTIPLE comments by him- his wife had gone into a locked bedroom with a married man for an hour. They both said she only gave him a massage. C said he was putting it on fb because he wanted her to hurt as badly as she had hurt him. That he hoped she met someone who cheated on her. On, and on, and on. OMG. J and I were DYING reading all of his comments. It was awful.
I have one of these, too. I blocked him from my Newsfeed because his Jerry Springer like divorce/child custody posts made me cringe and enraged me all at once.
I rubbernecked something similar with an old high school friend. His wife let him know she had a new boyfriend after he was deployed. He posted all the details - including both of their cell phone numbers and his place of employment. He was trying to see if he could get the guy fired. It was horrific.
They look pretty happy in their pictures together now. I have not forgiven her. (lol - I don't even know her so I'm totally kidding about the last part)
I have someone like this on my FB. She is ridiculous and I cringe almost every time she posts but I just can't bring myself to delete her! LOL Sometimes you just need the entertainment.
Aren't people starting to use Facebook stuff in divorce cases? I'd be deleting that stuff PRONTO.
Yep. It is pretty much common practice now to search social media for parties in all cases. I actually had my LinkedIn used this week in the courtroom. That was fun.
These people seriously need to get off FB and keep this stuff to themselves. It is extremely immature and they will do damage to their public "character" that cannot be undone. I literally think to myself before I type most anything (including here) "would I want a jury to see this?"

My H is friends with a couple like this. In their situation she will go and cheat on him (always with the same guy) and her FB will be full of how joyful it is to be with a "real" man this time. His FB will be full of what a lying cheating whore she is. Then a few months later they get back together and it's all "I love you baby" "I love you more baby". Then give it a year and it will all rinse and repeat.
Some people should not be allowed to communicate in public.

On a similar subject. In microbiology we were mixing different bacteria into neutral broths today. My prof. said "Now, don't go feeding this broth to hubby tonight!" And I mumbled, audibly, "I wish I could have last night..." and my professor gave me a horrified look. I'm pretty sure he thinks I'm going to kill my husband. Oops.
