Zipper pockets and interfacing question

I think you will want to use the interfacing since a zipper used by kids is going to take some abuse and you will want the fabric to be able to withstand it (especially if you are making it out of quilter's cotton and not home decor/canvas/duck weight fabrics).

As for brand...um...I just use whatever brand Joanns or Hancocks sell. I have no idea what brand it is!
