Moving- need tips on how to make the transition

Hi gals,

It's been a LONG time since I've posted on the Pets board but I figured with the transition this would be a good time to join back in the convo!

I was hoping you could offer me some help. I have 2 very happy and balanced cats and will be moving to a bigger place soon. I know cats tend to hate change so I want to make the transition to the new digs as easy as possible for for them.

I'm thinking I will put them in a room while we move everything in and keep them there for a little while with their food/box and cat tree. Maybe a blanket that already has their scent and ours too.

Beyond that- is there anything else I should be planning? Any other tips you might suggest?
