Dresser ...

So we got this dresser for $90 on CL. I want to refinish it white. What color should the hardware be?


Also, H doesn't want to bother with this project. He works like all day, every day, and he would rather pay someone to do it.

Any leads of who we could pay to refinish this?
Any idea on how many hours this would take? Or a general cost?

Anthropologie has some awesome knobs and pulls. I can envision a crystal type of hardware.

Also, I could envision some kind of accent on the detail on the mirror and drawers (either a stain or a product like rub n' buff) that shows the detail - which is something that can get lost if you do a solid color.

I refinished a dresser last fall, and it's hard to say how much time was hands on - but there was a lot of time waiting for things to dry between coats. Overall it was probably four of five days painting, and then I let it cure for another 3-4 days before I put the drawers back in and screwed in hardware.

I don't know of anyone who does this type of stuff professionally, but can't wait to see how it looks.

I like something bronze for that, but then again, I like bronze.
