The problem with the ProBoards app...

...is that it's too good. I've spent more time on ProBoards in the past two days than I normally do in a week on TN because this app is just so ridiculously user-friendly. At least TN's technical glitches drove me away for a while most days.

I am afraid for myself, I can't believe how amazing this app works. I bought it for the iPad but now will buy it for my phone too. ::shakes fists at ProBoard::

Yup same here. I have a killer headache and fear I am getting sick so DW has the child and I'm laying in bed posting. This never would have happened with TN.

I have been hesitant to download the app because I don't want to pay 2.99 if we are all going to migrate back over eventually (I remember what happened in 2008). Talk to me about why I should do it!

There are actually some functions of the app that are even better than the on line version! EX: you can take photos on your phone and post them directly to the board. It's super easy to read, too.

If this board eventually dies, you can read any and all ProBoards you might end up interested in on it as well.

I hesitated too, but after using the app, i may never use the full site again, i enjoy it so much. This is what this thread looks like on the app, lyss. That alone is worth 2.99.

Lyss - I'm the world's biggest cheap-ass and I can vouch for the app's value. It's worth giving up one day's Starbucks. :-)

OTOH, and to bring this full circle, I cannot get off this fucking board because of the ease of this fucking app. I spent ages promising myself that I'd quit TN, and it turns out that it may wind up being the worst thing that has ever happened to me. FML

Hit the forums button then type in pandce

My forums > add forum (at the top) > and you just type in "pandce"

The put the address in for you!

I'm using the Android app... it has Browse, Search, My forums, and Just in. When I search, it doesn't pop up.

Yeah, no kidding. I was really hardly posting on the nest because I had been so busy at work and I hated looking at it on my phone. I have posted more in the last 2 days than I have in AGES...oops.
