The aquarium in Baltimore is great for kids, but definitely not the best date place in Maryland. It's really loud, and sometimes there are so many kids and people that you can barely see the exhibits.

this list is ridiculous. i've been to miami. i'd be pissed if someone took me art basel instead of, you know, one of miami's billion famous beachfront restaurants. and maryland? an aquarium? yes, nothing says date like the piranha room. and delaware's "suggestion" is to go to like 75 restaurants on the "restaurant trail" or whatever. some guy invited me to drive around and eat until we exploded over who knows how many days? he'd get a kick in the crotch. there are a ton of suggestions like that "wow, kentucky has a lot of distilleries! go to them all. ON A DATE." virginia? DRIVE THE ENTIRE BLUE RIDGE PARKWAY. who goes on 17 hour dates?

Not everyone in Arizona likes to do outdoor stuff, including riding horses. Plus, it is all the way near Tuscon, which is not very close for those living in the Phoenix area. I live way out in the west valley and Tuscon is pretty far. Also, I don't want to go to a ranch for a date. Not my thing at all.
Yeahhh I don't really think roller derby is the best date option in all of CA. There are so many other more interactive and interesting things to do. And I LOVE roller derby... but not for a date.
Mass recommendation is fine but honestly Downtown boston has the waterfront, boston common, the public gardens etc. there are many better places in MA than Marblehead
VA's is pretty spot on if you're near it -- you can take nice, scenic drives, do a picnic, see the caverns, go to small town diners. Pretty versatile, actually.

sure. for a romantic weekend with your already-significant other.
when i think "date spot" i don't think something that would require an overnight bag. or would perhaps result in your roommate reporting you missing to the police.

Putting a bird on your clothes will not help you blend in with the natives in Portland. If it helps you blend in with anyone, it'd be the tourists and new arrivals. Have these people ever even been to Portland?

This is REDBOOK, cville. Their Target audience is middle aged women. Roommates? LOL.
yeah, i just saw that.
in which case, i'm STILL worked up, since who is telling my mom to go bike 500 miles in iowa! in a race! leave mamacville alone! she just wants to go look at crafts!
I actually liked where my grad school was and the town closest for dates. Cute little bars/restaurants, walkable, and quaint. Plus the theatre in the town I went to school!!!
