I hate when

All the books I am on the wait list for at the library come in all at once.

I'm currently waiting on several. Most are part of a series, so I am waiting for the next couple in each series. And I know they are all going to A. Come in all at once or B. the later books will come first, and expire before I get all the way through them.

The only plus side to be waiting is that I have a TON of kindle freebies I need to read and clear off my device. I should be ale to knock a few it before the requested ones come in.

I have two ebooks from the library that I know are going to expire before I get to them. Looks like I'll be going back on the wait list!

This happened to me last week - two ebooks came in, and two actual books. I ended up letting one of the ebooks lapse, since there wasn't a hold list, so now I'm desperately trying to tear through the other three. At least one of them isn't due for 3 more weeks, but the others are both due next weekend. Sigh.

Happens to me all the time.

This happens every single time I put more than one book on hold. More books also seem to come in at once when I have a particularly busy week planned.

Yes!! It's always when I have a ton of crap going on!!

This is the only way it happens for me and it drives me nuts.

With regular books at the library it's never a big deal if a few are in at the same time because I can renew them each 3 times, which gives me 9 weeks. With ebooks you can't renew and are stuck getting back in a huge wait list.
