I am throwing a birthday party for DD and we are serving baked ziti. I was wondering if anyone could help me come up with a good alternative to serve for our vegan guests. Are there any good vegan bottled salad dressings?

Silken tofu can be pureed with fresh basil, garlic, and thinned out with some oil and/or soy milk (salt and pepper to taste, of course), and it makes a pretty passable cream sauce for pasta. Some pasta is vegan. If not, layering roasted veggie slices (eggplant, zucchini, yellow squash) with the tofu cream sauce makes a yummy veggie lasagna. The firm tofu can be crumbled up to resemble feta texturally (though not taste-wise).
The most common vegan salad dressing in my stores around here are Annie's Naturals and Newman's Own, I don't think they're all vegan but a lot of them are. You can do a google search, I think there's actually a list of them out there somewhere.
If you are looking for a good vegan recipe, here are some vegan recipes that we like.. We are vegetarian rather than vegan, but vegan suits our needs, too.
You could make a vegan version of your ziti andmake your own salad dressing(3:1 olive oil to vinegar ratio with a bit of salt and pepper, a bit of dijon if you want it creamier). Or you could roast 2 bell peppers, an eggplant and a red onion with some olive oil then toss with a pound of pasta and and some of the aforementioned vinagrette.
I have both of those pinned to try, but haven't yet, so I don't know how they are.
It's so nice of you to consider the dietary needs of your guests. I've regularly been in the situation where I have to rely on my emergency Larabar to get me through an afternoon.
