I've been meandering around and noticed that MM created a sub board for the kid related things? Do you guys think thats a good idea for here or should we keep up with the @s?

The @ is fine with me. Whenever I'm in a fragile woe-is-me-I-have-no-kids-mood, I'll just skip them. When I'm not in such a mode, I do like reading them.

I'm not a regular (yet!) and also have no kids (again, yet!). But most of my friends do, and while I occasionally tire and have to take a child-free-zone time for myself, it doesn't bother me. Unless someone starts asking a lot of questions about gender related colours for nurseries. Then I will get violent.

Me too, and I have a kid.
As others have said, I don't think our board is active enough to justify a sub board.

I enjoy reading the @ posts and don't have kids. Aren't kids sometimes a part of the 'international experience'? I suppose I don't really understand why they need a sub-board, as for me they are a part of our lives as ex-pats (or ex ex-pats), just as sometimes people post about pets or husbands or random country-specific laws. Many of us can relate to all of those things, whether or not we've had that specific experience.
