They are saying their exits are 50-50, which is surprising, since there is an independent in the race, isn't there?
I predict the independent gets three votes.
I think with the amount of anger at walker, plus the amount of anger at the recall itself, I'd be surprised if it isn't at least a point.
The thing that is really striking me is how solid opinions have been forever. I got a chance to look at some private polling data, and something like 90% have had their minds made up for months and aren't moving. That is so rare.
I guess I'm not "opposed to the recall"--I just think politics is fun. But I think in Wisconsin the argument that " even if we don't like what Walker has done, the recall is wrong" played very well.

Interesting. Despite all the mentions of the whole thing here, I honestly didn't even know that that's how walker's side was playing it. I tend to just skim stories on other area's local politics unless it involves tiaras.
I should add that I'm not surprised, just disappointed. H is taking this super hard. He already feels really demoralized over the whole state of public employees and education in this state.
