My dad has FINALLY opened up a CSA out of our family farm and I am SO excited for him. The family farm has been in our family for over 150 years but it isn't a primary source of income anymore. Just my dad's life-long passion and love.

Last summer he met with some other farmers and got information on localharvest.org and decided to go for it this year. He's just now spreading the word but I am super pumped to be able to see this happen. Supporting local harvest is important, in my opinion, regardless of where you are. So I'm just proud that my dad decided to provide produce, even though it's not much for profit after labor and everything. I love it!

Our friend S that I was talking about a while back that kind of makes a fit ( although E talked to him and I guess he is just teasing me) told his wife tonight when I took dinner over ( they had their baby Friday and I was trying to help out this week) that he wants to hire me as a personal chef! It was very flattering!

We have had sex 12 out of the 13 days dh has been home. The day we skipped wasn't even my choice. The longest we had ever gone before was 3 days, so this is a little shocking.

Ditto Ojo, color me impressed AND jealous.

I plan on going for some kind of record next summer when he gets home from Korea. And possibly spraining (sp? wtf) my vagina during mid tour. Going so long without sex with your husband when you're both ridiculously good at it (together) is just criminal.
