Are the Tarte Lipsurgence lip products worth the money?

I have Moody. I like the feel of it a lot, and it does fall in the more than a gloss, less than a lipstick category. I do not, however, find it to be very long-wearing, and the color is pretty sheer. I like but don't love it, but I have a track record of trying things that aren't quite lipsticks, only to find that I really prefer lipstick. I was hoping for more staying power.

They're really comfortable to wear and have a nice, minty scent, but they're definitely not long lasting. I'm having a difficult time coming up with a sheer lipstick that stays around for longer than 2-3 hours tops, actually. YSL's Rouge Volupte Candy line does pretty well (but is more expensive than Tarte) and Burberry's Lip Mists maybe perform a little less well than Tarte in the longevity department. You might also check out the Fresh tinted lip balm line--they're pretty sheer, though I'm not sure how well they do longevity-wise.

I love them. I haven't paid full price for any, though. Sephora has had a value set during the holidays the last couple of years, and QVC also had a set that was a great deal. I have probably a dozen of them now. Unfortunately I don't see any of those deals out there right now.
