I think it's Bastille Day (July 14). I am pretty sure there isn't anything in June, which is great because I feel like DD practically didn't go to school in May.
Christmas. Yeah, it sucks here. All the holidays are super close together in March/April/May/June (depending on the christian holidays that specific year) and then nothing until Christmas.
The only holidays besides the religious ones here are Queen's Day (april 30), some get Labor Day off (May 1) and some get liberation day off every year, some every 5 years and some never (May 5).
We just had a 4 day weekend for the Jubilee. The next bank holiday is in Aug. I have off this whole week for half term then I have 5 weeks before summer starts.

You depress me. Thank goodness I fill in the big gap with American holidays.
Plus, I got a 13 bday party, hooray the 13 year old is done with school day, the kick off of 2 weeks of not having the 13 around so I can sleep in celebration, the my baby is coming home I missed her so much celebration, thank God school has started so the 13 year old can leave me the eff alone day....
Today is a holiday, and I can't be more excited for it!
I've celebrated by going to bed at 2130 last night and waking up now (0945). Clearly I needed some sleep!
I'm not sure when the next holiday is, but I feel like they certainly are plentiful here. And I really enjoy the fact that almost everything closes on holidays here, and people are encouraged to spend time with their families. I feel like this is in stark contrast with the life I lived in Chicago.
Next public holiday is beginning of August and then the end of October and then Christmas... but I've still got a lot of vacation days to take!!! I'm taking next Mon/Tues off and the following Thurs/Fri...

I hope you're right, if there are any others, I am not aware. May is insane, every weekend is a long weekend, or they "prend le pont".
This past Monday the streets were so quiet when I was walking M to school, I was afraid it was a holiday that I didn't know about!
