Since I doubt my H would like me to sit on my phone on the board all night, does anyone have suggestions for insomnia? I usually all back to sleep alright after my 1-3 bathroom breaks of the night, but last night I laid awake for almost 2 hours!
Do I just get used to it and chalk it up to "my body preparing for the baby" and lots of sleepless nights? Or do you have any remedies that may help? My mom swears on warm milk but milk doesn't sit well with me.

First, how many weeks are you? I believe regular Benadryl is safe during pregnancy. You can try that if you're desperate (talk to your OB first or check your ok meds list), or you can try a warm bath, a few sips of wine to relax yourself, or some warm milk (it has properties to help you sleep).

Most times I fall asleep. Exercise seems to help and yesterday was my second day off from the gym. I'll go tonight and then take a bath and have warm milk! That should do the trick.
I suggested that she get a snoogle or pregnancy pillow, but so far she is trying to tough it out. She can sleep okay until about 3am when she has to pee, and then she can't get back to sleep.
For now I just deal with it. This past week I have had a lot of trouble getting back to sleep after the pee break, but that's a first. I might urge her to at least bring more pillows into bed and use them to get comfortable if this keeps up .
when i was ktfu with bjl, this happened here and there. i think for the most part, what the issue was that i was slightly hungry and couldn't sleep. so i would eat, and then i would go back to sleep. usually a slice of cheese or a hard boiled egg.....if that didn't work, i'd self service

Actually now that you mention it, I was hungry but I was too lazy to get up for food. Maybe I'll leave crackers by my bed just in case this happens again. Thanks!
