You should be able to take something else (there's Diflucan that comes to mind) that will work better for you. I'd go to your PCP and ask for something else before it makes your supply drop from lack of nursing/pumping.

The only thing with that is it might not get the yeast. It's for foot fungus, which is another type, and it may not work well either (of course, you can try it and see). You may be able to go to an urgent care and get the Diflucan, or maybe try calling your OB to see if they'll just send a script to your pharmacy for you.

Gentian violet is supposed to help with thrush. It can stain everything purple after time though.

Also if you can get your hands on lavender essential oil apply a few drops to the nipple and breast after each feeding. As well as Apple Cider Vinegar like she recommends.
