I almost paged you over on TTTC last night! I had my first visit yesterday and the only thing I really wish I had known was to wear pants that could be pulled up over my knees.
Good luck, Sonrisa! I really hope they have some answers for you.

Thanks :-) That is really good to know. I would have never done that otherwise. Was it weird or relaxing or neither or both?
Both. Definitely both.
The weird part was ALL the talk about my cycle, my flow, what it looks like, how it feels...be prepared to talk a LOT about your period. And how many pads/tampons you go through in a heavy day. How many days it lasts. Etc. I mean, I'm pretty in tune with my cycle and I was like, "Esh, I'm not sure on that!" lol.
Also, if you're charting (I can't remember) take your chart or at least know what your temp is (generally) pre and post O.
The actual needle part didn't hurt, but did burn a touch when he put them in. Then I'd say about 15 minutes of "relaxing" and he left the room.
I'm planning to go back - I really thought it was kind of awesome. I posted a LONG post about what he said on TTTC last night. Feel free to check it out. Most people here don't care, I'm sure!
If anything hurts or feels uncomfortable, let them know. They just have to move the needle slightly as the original placement may be too close to a nerve. I find it really relaxing and come out feeling refreshed.

I started it a couple of weeks ago and feel a lot better emotionally and my energy is much improved. I need to wear warmer clothes when I go as I get cold being barefoot.
For me, I get ridiculously relaxed and see colors. The first session I felt like I was spinning really hard and almost like the table was leaning. Had a tiny bit of that visit #2 and none the next visit.
