LOL we haven't even started yet. I wanted to just have fun to start. And I'm lazy.
Also, I get really intense ovary pain so I'm pretty sure I can pinpoint when. And technically without temping I know you don't REALLY know for sure if you O'd
Alzi - If you want piss strips, let me know. I think I still have a bunch of them, because when I was doing my infertility testing I needed to when I surged so they could do blood work a few days later to make sure I was ovulating. I don't think they're expired
From what I've read POM juice, pinapple core and wheat grass are supposed to help thicken up your lining - which is needed for a fertilized egg to stick. I don't recall seeing that it extends the luteal phase, but I could be wrong.
I've heard that vitamin B6 helps extend your luteal phase, as well as some other herbal supplements. Honestly, if you want to go down the herbal supplement road I'd probably talk to your OB about it. I know my doctor actually had some concerns about specific supplements that are marketed as increasing fertility - because they actually have a negative impact. I didn't get the specifics, because I wasn't taking any.

We had "fun" for 5 months before I finally got frustrated and started temping. The first month, I didn't know what I was doing or what to look for. The second we got PG. I get a severe pain in my side with I O. Its confirmed because shortly after, I have CM. I never realized it until after I got PG, because I didn't understand the timing, signs, etc. GOOD LUCK!
I have been using the app. I should probably check out the resources that come with it lol
Yes, the website itself is a lot better, although the app is handy too. There is a whole fertility in 25 minute video and a "lesson plan" type thing with quizzes that teach the basics. I'd say the vast majority of women really have little to no idea about the basics of fertility, beyond the sperm/egg/period stuff. I know I didn't.

Yeah, we had "fun" for 6 months. Nothing happened. I was totally timing the fun all wrong. H really misses those days. ha ha ha
I peed on the o-strips for one month straight (or 2.5 weeks until I o-ed) is what did it for us. First go after I actually could pin point the exact date of ovulation is what worked for us. I know everyone is different but I'd rather piss on a strip than have to chart my temp and figure that whole mess out.
"Fun" and "fertility friend" don't go in the same sentence to me.
Really, I don't find taking my temp each day stressful. I enter it in the chart and I'm done. It then tells me everything I need to know. I find that charting can really help pinpoint ovulation, especially when you may get multiple days in a row of positive OPKs, which I do. Plus I find all that stuff really interesting.

I wasn't charting when I got pg, but I got the general jist of it. I remember having a convo with a friend and telling her that I knew I was pregnant before I knew I was pregnant and that I knew I had ovulated that month (as opposed to anovulatory cycles, which were common before I lost a metric fuck ton of weight.) "How do you know that about your body?" "How do you not want to know that stuff about your body." And then later she's like, "It's taking us a year to get pg. I wonder why it's taking so long?"
Our bodies, no matter how dysfunctional they can be, are amazing things.

I used B6 to lengthen my LP. It was super short because I was pumping. I did chart when we were TYzc Kennedy, but not this time because my sleep schedule was so inconsistent. I used the ovulation strips as well and they worked like a charm. I'm pretty sure I have a bunch left over as well.
Is B6 a pill vitamin? Is it not found in normal pre-natals?
Also, do you start counting length of LP from O day? Or the day after? Either way, I think i was just freaking myself out, bc I was wrong, it was not short this month.
I had the b vitamins directly shot into my ass, that's so much better than vitamin form. It was for energy/weight loss so maybe it was a combo of losing weight and having energy to dtd but man those injections made me feel amazing. I miss them.

Yes, it's just a pill. I probably have a bottle of it I can pass on to you. I'll check tomorrow. It is in pre-natals but the extra dosage is what helps. I always started counting my LP from the day after O.
