I have seen alot of comments about how everyone loved her old house more than her current one. I have searched the blog and can't find a link anywhere. Is there a link to pics of her old house somewhere?
I don't think it's a logical comparison to make. The other house was mostly finished when she started her blog. I think people will like this one when she has some more going on.

Is this her old house or her new one? I have seen this page. I thought this was her new one.

Nope, it's her old house. Her new one is not decorated yet.

Yeah, the new one is still under construction. I like seeing the natural progression from "OMG IS THIS A CRACK DEN" to "wow, this is really nice" because she and HH have done a LOT of work on it and it looks great.

How are people saying they don't like it already? She hardly did anything to it yet. Jesus Christ.
I think it's more that it's already so much ikea and neutral colors, but she's shown that she's purchased a lot of stuff from thrift stores, etc. so I think it'll be a good mix once she actually gets the place furnished.
The only reason her whole kitchen is ikea is because she bought it during that XYZ% off time period. The only other things I think are ikea are the boys' bed, the master bath vanity, and the mudroom storage.
Agreed. I'm wondering how that white furniture holds up with little ones.
I don't think it's too neutral. Others do. I think when she adds other layers in with decor it will start to look good.
I imagine a lot of the white is a wipeable surface. Or she'll train her kids to clean it. I grabbed a cloth to wipe up the wall last night. My two year old took it from me and scrubbed the wall for me. ;D
