I eat well during the day and go to the gym 6 days a week. I can't control myself at night. I eat everything. What are your tricks? I may have to see my mouth shut. Lol
I keep my water bottle full and next to me all evening. When I get the temptation, I just guzzle water, sometimes with lemon slices. If I absolutely have to have something, I eat frozen blueberries.
I kind of think it's just a personality thing. Some people are snackers, and some are not. Since you're a snacker, maybe change up what you snack on? Keep the "bad stuff" out of the house. For me, I KNOW I cannot have chips in my house. Ever. I WILL eat half the bag.
If not, I try to distract myself with other suff. Reading, etc. I find once I break the habit of snacking, I can go without, but once I set a pattern of snacking, it's hard to break.

If I have to eat a snack (lol), I eat fruit, popcorn, or have a cup of decaf coffee and dip some ginger cats (best TJ's cookies ever!) in it. I also love bananas in the microwave with a tbsp of PB and some choc chips. So basically something filling and semi healthy.

I completely agree. It's a total habit for me. I do it way less now, I think just because I didn't for a little while, and now I don't really want to.

I can't not snack. Usually I eat things like sunflower seeds and popcorn, which seem filling to me but are not high in calories. I also keep healthy stuff around that I love, like string cheese, berries, etc.
I brush my teeth around 8pm & drink water. If that doesn't curb the craving I tell myself to wait 20 minutes & if I still want it then I'll make something healthy.
I also just don't keep a lot of snacks in the house.

B: I usually have cream of rice or eggs S: bannana L: veggie burger in a flat bread with slice of cheese S: apple and yogurt D: depends - maybe soup, chicken depends on the day
S: Here's the problem. i have no self control I can eat a giant bag of pretzels. Half the time I am not even hungry. I just eat them because they are there.
I like to snack on sugar-free Jello at night so I don't blow up like a balloon from eating at night. Keep baby carrots and fruit in the refrigerator to reach for if you feel like noshing. Also, what PP's said: don't keep those empty-calorie snacks in the house and you won't be tempted.
