Like Rock-n-Voll, our budget also varies quite a bit. We're lucky in that both of our families like to take trips together, so we went to Turks & Caicos courtesy of the ILs in November and we're going on a cruise in two weeks with my family, courtesy of my grandparents. The years that we have those trips, we don't spend nearly as much as we do in the years when we have our own travel plans. For our own travel, I would estimate that we probably spend $5K+ per trip on average.
I think we spend about $6k per year personally, BUT in a good year we also get a luxury trip via DH's work that is about $8-$10k in value alone. Plus last year the ILs took us to Hawaii on their dime.
Also, this board IS slow. Practically no responses!
It depends on what we want to do that year. We always take one big international trip ranging anywhere from $5-12k depending on where we go and a few mini 4 day weekend trips throughout the year.
This year we're looking at going to Dubai and thinking it's going to be around $7k depending on how many days we decide to stay.

Well, that depends. How much will it cost me to go skiing near Calgary next winter?
Actually, I'm serious about that. I've now sat out two seasons, unless you count a day on Korean ice, and I don't. Canada seems cheaper for us than Colorado or Utah.
I voted SS because ours really varies. We usually take a couple of smaller trips a year and then one big one. The cost of the big one often depends on our income during the year. We are both real estate agents so we don't make the same amount every year. In a lean year, we will choose a destination where it is cheap to travel. In a better year, we will usually pick a more expensive one.

Considering that the flights from Chile to the US put us over $3k, and we go back to the US once a year plus other trips, it's safe to say a big chunk of our budget goes to travel.

It can be pretty pricey to eat/do stuff in Banff/Lake Louise, but I'd also imagine that CO or Utah is the same.
I haven't been in like 8 years, but the ski passes were expensive last time i was out there. We actually ski in NY because its cheaper for us cause we can drive from Ontario.
That being said, the skiing and views are amazing. AMAZING. And there is SO many cool things to do in the area.
