i was taking a sip of water when i read this on my BMB.

Names you can't/won't use

So I'm bored.... Are there
any names you like but you won't/can't use? I really like the name
Charlotte Olivia for a girl but I won't use it because a) it's become
too popular for my taste, and b) my last name starts with a W, so her
initials would be COW and I just can't do that to a girl. Well I guess I
wouldn't do that to a boy either.

On that note, a really sweet coworker had her baby last month. I have to assume they didn't review the initials closely before settling on a name. The girl's name is Haley Ann G.

COW, oh that's terrible! HAG is also bad. These parents are either cruel or don't stop to think about initials?

Catbus took the name I had on my list for a boy

We're bummed because we both really like A names but can't give a child AA as initials. I also like a lot of names then end in a sound too similar to the beginning or ending of our last name and then sounds rhymey.

my cousin had a baby.. named her harlee.. she was born in Enumclaw, her initials are H.I.K.S. fitting, I suppose.

I can't think of anything that I could name my kid that would suck with our last name. we have no fun potential. my brother is a.l.f.
