I have a friend whose NB daughter they think has a milk protein allergy. They've tried a couple of things and it's not working so now her doc is telling her to stop breast feeding!!!! Can I give her your email to ask you questions? I promise she isn't a crazy stalker. I really don't want her to have to stop breast feeding

yes tell her to email/txt me, and get a new pedi for sure! if it's a cow's milk allergy, then formula will be worse, since that's based on cow's milk. eliminate from diet for at least a full three weeks to see changes...

Thanks ladies. I don't know much about how to manage the issue but when she said she'd have to stop breast feeding I was livid.

this. my brother has a bad pediatrician too, but he's got really crappy insurance and he's got limited options.....

his pedi told him to flip his baby face forward in his car seat when he hit 6months. um..not only is that unsafe, it's against the law!! i saw a picture of it (lucky, the same day he flipped it) i was livid, and he switched it back..
