My good friend has the Oeuf Classic, and it's gorgeous but oh, so expensive. My dream crib was the Kalon Studios Caravan crib, but it would have been a bit awkwardly high for me with the mattress at the lowest setting. Plus, it was $600 more than the Ikea one. That said, I have an UppaBaby Vista stroller, so I'm not exactly above spending more than "necessary" on baby gear.
unpopular opinion: i think a drop crib would be so much easier and bjl would probably be sleeping in her own bed and not mine if this were the case.
In her own room? Or yours? Why do you think that?
the main reason we kept her in our bed was because it was too difficult to transfer her to her crib without waking her up...when she was littler and easier to transfer, i'd feed her, then put her in her bed, then i'd go back to sleep...i used to stay awake while nursing her..now i don't bc i know i'm not going to transfer her anyways.
