yep, I had an awesome boot cast on my wedding day. luckily my doc gave me enough pain killers that (somehow) I was able to get around for the actual wedding without crutches.
the shoes I was supposed to wear with my crutches (my dad ran out and bought me pink sparkly toms the morning of, so I wore the boot and one tom)
luckily you couldn't tell under my dress:
crutches on the beach for our honeymoon was not so much fun :

OMG. You poor thing! You really can't tell under your dress though. How the heck did you make it up the aisle??...and how did you break it in the first place? Bachelorette bar incident, perhaps?
awww thanks everyone! I may or may not have tripped on the stairs outside our townhome while taking my dog out. It was after we had dinner with my parents and DH's dad/step-mom, where they met for the first time, so alcohol was definitely needed to survive that, lol.
I still don't know how I got down the aisle. We even did our first dance somehow. I mostly stayed on one foot. And even danced the whole night basically on one foot. My brother and his girlfriend were helping me monitor my pain meds all night. I think meds, a little alcohol, and lots and lots of adrenaline.
I was in a wedding a few years ago with a broken foot and the same big black boot! Luckily our dresses were black and hid it well. I wore flip flops during the ceremony and changed into the boot for the reception.
