jeans - $80, marked down from $200 shoes - not sure, but definitely less than $100 bag - $175, marked down from $600! jewelry - I have never bought myself nice jewelry
I'm cheap and only buy expensive-ish things when they are on sale.
- a pair of jeans $150 - a pair of shoes $250 for boots - a purse or handbag $300 - a piece of jewelry (excluding engagement/wedding rings) probably no more than $100, H buys me the good stuff
- a pair of jeans: $200 - a pair of shoes: $150 - a purse or handbag: $300 - a piece of jewelry (excluding engagement/wedding rings): I haven't actually bought any expensive jewelry for myself, but the most expensive piece of jewelry I own aside from engagement ring is $700.
Worth it? Regret it?: I don't regret any of them. I'm willing to spend more money on classic items that I will have and wear for a long time, and all of these items qualify.
- a pair of jeans $270 - a pair of shoes $1200 - a purse or handbag $3000 - a piece of jewelry (excluding engagement/wedding rings)$4600 (my sapphires)
All worth it except the handbag, which was a monogram coach bag that I carried for only one season and then decided that I think monogram bags are lame.
