I just heard from the nurse. Of the 10 eggs, 6 were mature and 4 fertilized. Transfer is scheduled for Monday. I'm so nervous. How the heck am I going to get through the next few days?!

That's a great fert report Mae! I hope everything goes perfectly the next 5 days and they go quickly for you! Are you in a lot of pain? How was the ER? Do you know how many you will transfer?
I'm not really in pain anymore. I had some mild cramping when I sat up yesterday, but it's pretty much gone now. The retrieval itself wasn't bad. I was really scared, but the whole thing was over quickly.
We're only going to transfer one. I'm taking part in a study at my RE, and if we only transfer one then he'll freeze the rest for free. One is what's recommended for my age group anyway.
Thanks everyone! I just got my first PIO shot. That was not fun. After I got the needle ready and saw how big it was, I sobbed for about half an hour. DH didn't know what to do with me, lol. It didn't really hurt much, but I'm still traumatized.
I really hope this works. I don't think I could go through this again.

Try icing the area for a few minutes before you get the shot. That's what I did, and then I sat on a heating pad for a few minutes afterward.
Good luck! The PIO shots are no fun. I had to do them for almost two months with our IVF cycle. (But we got our twins out of it.)
