It was nice to see Scarlett having more of a personality and looking less like a perpetually wounded puppy.

It provides a nice symmetry to Avery if she does. When he did that he was a jerk. How will she be perceived? Esp now that Avery appears to be losing about of his asshole.

I loved Gunner and Scarlet this episode and yes agree that she was great and not a damsel in distress like she usually is.
But you know now that Avery is "back" there is going to be a love triangle and it's not going to go smooth sailin' for Gunner and Scarlet -- esp. with the record deal thing.
