did anyone on here have one? i think i know one person..
can you tell me about how long it took you to heal?
i am worried because i'm overweight and i have a stomach 'flap' that is even more pronounced sorta since i lost weight. i'm concerned that the incision will be under and it'll never heal.. and it'll be a fuckingnightmare.
i'd love to know about people who had c sections recently and how it was for them.

*raises hand* Me.
Healing time was about 6 weeks (this is true for any major surgery, really). I was able to be up and around from day 2 (though it was really hard, I cried a lot, and J had to help me use the bathroom and shower).
I do have a tummy "flap", but it's small. I was able to heal fine. As long as you are able to lie down and get air onto it, it should heal fine, assuming all else goes well. There's a lot of risk with c-sections, regardless of your size. But as long as you keep the incision clean and dry, it should be fine.
I think i've heard of people using gauze (early on, since it's sanitary), rolled/folded to keep the 'flap' skin separate from the lower skin so there is air flow, then after it heals using a rolled cloth. I don't know whether this is a good idea, but it seems like it could be... I'm also sure that they will have directions and tips for you b/c they probably encounter it pretty often.
