I just finished assembling dd's playroom furniture.
They have an employee outside to help with loading.
You can also just make a list of your stuff then have them pick it off the shelves and deliver it to the room of your choosing for $99. I did it for the playroom bc I didn't want to deal with making 2 trips and coordinating times that DH could come with me. It was fabulous.

Mmm... meatballs....
I am an Ikea lover. There is a free bus in my neighborhood to Ikea and me and my H took it once just to eat meatballs and go home. Talk about a cheap date!
The billy bookcase and hemnes dressers are particular loves of mine.
We go to Ikea all the freaking time and I love that place. We live less than a mile away, so it's easy to pop in and out for whatever, plus the food is tasty and cheap and Edith likes the kid section. Here's the trick. There are little shortcuts hidden in the walls so you don't have to walk around the whole goddamn store just to get out. You'll have to look for them or ask an employee, but it saves me a shitton of time. I can get in and out for a coffee frother in less than ten minutes.
