It could be the silicones, but I'm not sure. Which silicone is it? I've never had a problem with dimethicone, which is in tons of products.

I really might try the Monistat Chafing Gel. It's supposed to be a dupe for the Smashbox, but the exact formulas are not the same. It's dimethicone-based and I haven't had a problem with my super sensitive skin.

Alternately, I might get myself to a Sephora for samples. It's a pain, but I bet if you explain sensitivity to the Smashbox primer they'll make you a bunch to try.
