If you have a bag that is still in good condition, but you don't plan to ever use it again what do you do with it? Do you keep it? Sell it? Give it away?
I'm not a huge handbag person, so for the most part, I use a bag until it looks like crap, lol. I've been a bit better about it the past few years, so I have some that are in good condition that I store for other occasions/outfits/etc. I don't really have any bags that are in good condition that I don't want or won't use, but if I did, I would either give it away to a friend, or put it up for consignment.
So it would be silly to hold on to them for DD (she's two) to use when she's older, right? I have a few Coach bags that I don't plan to use again.
I guess it depends on the bag. Coach maayyyybe? Not sure about the value of coach in the long run. If it were something more high-end (Prada, for example) then definitely because it may still have some value when she's older.
My mom wasn't big into handbags, but she kept a lot of designer clothes for me for when I got older that I still wear...its kind of awesome. My favorite is this navy silk embroidered Comme De Garcons blouse.
Yeah I have an LV bag that I'll definitely hang on to, but I wasn't sure if the Coach bags were worth saving. They are everywhere now, but they might still might be fun for her to use as a teen.
Yeah, if they are still in good condition, especially if they are leather and more of a classic style, then you may want to hang on to them for her to use. You may be able to get some $$ for them now for sure though from consignment or selling them.

I've sold a few of my old Coach bags from High School/College on ebay, I just throw my fossil bags in the back of my closet and hope DH doesn't notice I got a new bag. LOL
I just tried to sell a coach bag on ebay and ended up kind of getting screwed. The person got and said it was all scuffed up (which is wasn't when I sent it) and appealed on ebay for a refund. she sent it back crunched up in a tiny box which was smashed and I lost money on it after listing it and spending money for packaging and shipping.

I sell some, give some to good will, and give others to younger friends and family members. Also my Mom has held onto a few to give a potential grand baby one day to play with..if for some reason there isn't a grand baby, we'll just send those bags to good will, too.
