Sorry, I think hair looks gross if you're sweating a lot and then just add dry shampoo. I've tried it. I wanted it to work. It just looked and felt gross and I know how to correctly apply dry shampoo.
I do the dry shampoo thing on the regular after workouts. I put my hair in a low bun, it dries, take it down, dry shampoo, and walla- loose waves.
Let's just assume then that we're all walking around every day passing people who may have not showered and/or washed their hair in awhile. If they don't smell bad/look bad we don't care. We all only care when a) they apparently tell us (like on MM or here) or b) when you can smell the person/see gross hair.
Props to you ladies who don't wash your hair post-work out. I'm happy for you. I wish you would pass along your good genes/styling to some friends and coworkers of mine.
what amazes me more is that some people don't smell even without daily showering. how? how do they do this? i am a sweaty, nasty beast and i smell by the end of the day. what are the secrets???
I wonder if it's like washing your hair? Or maybe they just clean up trouble areas?

I'm not sure why DW can get away with less frequent showers and I can't. It's is so not fair, because it takes me an hour to get ready every day and she can just roll out of bed, straighten her hair, and be ready in 10 minutes. We've been together 8 years, she's always been able to smell nice (even without perfume) so it must be genetics.
You can not tell me after 2 days of no shower these chicks can't smell dirty butthole. GAG!
My skin is like the sahara, dry, red itchy and scaly especially in the winter and I still shower 1-2 times (mostly 2 times) per day.
Shut the fuck up with that mess, heifer.
Just like the MM thread on how 40k isn't a lot of money on ML is why y'all think MM is so out of touch, this thread right here is probably why MM thinks ML is a bunch of catty bitches. Seriously. Unless you wash your hair and take a shower every day and also washing your jeans all the time you're dirty and gross and stinky? How about if you don't fucking stink, it doesn't matter how often you take a shower or wash your hair or jeans. Fucking hell, man. Judgemental shit at it's best, ML style.
I don't care who you are or how clean you think you are. Your asshole (I DID NOT SAY WHOLE BODY) is going to stink after pooping and not washing after 2 days.

Unless you are having bucket blowouts every damn day, your asshole is not going to stink so bad after two days that you can smell it while walking the fuck around. So again. Shut the fuck up with that mess, heifer.
Oh holy crap I am not talking about walking around. I am talking about when they go to the bathroom, or change clothes or get busy with the spouse.

ONCE AGAIN. Not showering for two days does not mean that, at any time, you will be able to smell your own goddamn butthole unless you are in downwards facing dog, naked, and extremely flexible.
If you can smell your own ass after two days without a shower, then you need to learn how to wipe better. HTH. STFU. WITH THAT MESS.
Guess you will have to KOKO with that. Because I still say it is nasty. If it were me, my spouse, my child..whatever. It is gross.

I don't belong in this thread.
I can go three days without a shower and still not stink, and yes I have experimented this before, lol, even though typically it's every other day. Deodorant, perfume, and dry shampoo can go far.
I can wear my jeans 3 times in a row without washing them and you can't even tell. And how can you tell if my butthole stinks, are you going to stick your face in my ass?
I workout 5x a week. I pile my hair on top of my head and yes, I sweat. I use dry shampoo. This isn't hard.
I am not a head sweater. Even when I worked out intensely, I was able to come home, blast my roots with some cold air from my hairdryer (they were never wet, just a tiny bit of moisture in some areas) and use dry shampoo and my hair always looked great (and didn't smell). Not hard, and no, I didn't "not work out hard enough." I was in the best shape of my life and had more muscle and strength than I've ever had. People just sweat at different levels. I am one of the lucky ones. I would see girls working out at the same level as me and their heads were soaked in sweat, mine never was.
I am so jealous. I have been reading your blog for a long time now and I try so hard to not wash my hair everyday but I just can't do it-- it is just not a possibility for my hair. le sigh.
