I'm a big believer in "Don't let what you can't do stop you from doing what you can do."
So you can't run a marathon (or whatever) right now. But you can focus on having a healthy baby, eating foods that work for you and making a plan on a timeframe that works for you.

Dude, you just had a baby! Buy some bigger pants to tide you over and help you feel like a normal person until you can fit back into your pre-pregnancy clothes. It took me about 7 months and that was without working out. You will be normal again, I promise.
I remember feeling the same way a few weeks after having my first baby. But really, it is so normal to take some time. In the beginning try to focus on taking care of yourself and the baby and forget the rest. Eventually you will lose more naturally and will have more time and energy to exercise. For now, give yourself a break.
I totally get the blah, gross feeling from not moving as much, eating being weird post-baby, etc. but seriously, give your body some time to to heal and for the hormones to stabilize, and for you guys to really get into a routine. It'll work so much better then.
