TTM about sodastreams and crock pots.

Our crock pot went caput and we need a new one. We need one that has an auto shut off with warming feature. 

We also decided that we should go ahead and get a soda stream. We've been drinking a bottle of sparkling water with dinner every night, and well - that's just dumb. I think we need one. 

What should we get?

No idea on the crock pot but we love love love our soda stream!

I love my sodastream. Love it I say. I would get the one up from the cheapest one (at least). I have two. The cheapest one is fine, but you have to maneuver a little bit to get the bottle on. It's a piece of cake once you figure it out, but the next one up (about $10 more) you don't have to do that.

As far as a crockpot, I have a Rival six-quart. I have the one where you can braise/brown meat on the stove with the crockpot insert and then put it in the crockpot. I think you can set the timer for up to eight hours and it will warm for four hours.

LOVE our sodastream!! We've had ours for a few years and I think the newer ones have bigger gas canisters. We go through one gas canister a week (it used to be one every two weeks before I got pregnant), but we get 30 liters of water from one canister.

We have whatever the basic Soda Stream is and it gets used daily in our house. We have had to replace the (plastic) bottles twice b/c they can't be washed in a dishwasher and DH has a habit of leaving them in his car, or at his desk, or downstairs in the basement and they sit there a few days before getting washed and thus, develop mold after a few months.

This is the crock pot we have. It is the top rated one from Cook's Illustrated. I use it at least weekly and it is awesome
